I learnt 10 weeks of conversational Malay with Sharifah and thoroughly enjoyed every lesson of it. Sharifah is an excellent tutor who was able to explain everything in a clear and concise manner to me. Her immense experience in teaching Malay is evident in the way she delivers the lesson smoothly and is able to clarify any doubts that I have on the spot. I liked the fact that her lessons were very structured, with every lesson revolving around a theme (e.g. food items, household items). She provided me with comprehensive notes followed by a short quiz the following week to help me keep track of my progress. I was taught various Malay phrases, which were practical and applicable to day-to-day conversation. The lessons were also very interactive and interesting, with various opportunities for me to practise what I had learnt. I have greatly benefited from Sharifah's teaching and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a competent Malay tutor.
